I'm still not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing...
On the one hand, there is an obvious destination to the major plotline (finding Earth before the Cylons) and if they try to drag it on and on with delays and diversions everyone is going to grow tired and the show will grow stale. Best to end on a bang (a la Bloom County) rather than become so lame that nobody will miss it when it is gone ( a la Garfield).
On the other hand...FUCK it's a good show!!! If it leaves, then we are back to shitty sci-fi original movies and WB drivel.
However, if the show ends, the actors will need some work.
